10/18/18 Post-Game Show: Bulls vs. Philadelphia

The Bulls lost their regular season opener to the Philadelphia 76ers 127-108. Edward and Salim discussed the game, the Bulls frequently bad defensive habits and why it's troubling that the team continues to rely heavily on their offense to win games. They also continued to praise Zach LaVine's play following his 30-point night. They also talked about Bobby Portis and his contract negotiations and what the gap in talks represents for Portis and the Bulls next summer. The guys also went around the league and talked about the things that stuck out for them in the first few days of the regular season. They wrapped the show up with their picks for Friday's slate of games. 

Preseason Wrap

The Bulls preseason ended Friday in a loss to the Denver Nuggets. We talked about the game and reviewed the team's overall preseason. Fred Hoiberg shuffled the team's starting lineup and we talked about how Jabari Parker is handling his new bench role and why Wendell Carter Jr. has officially earned his starting job. We also continue to be impressed with Zach LaVine's play and discussed what he's doing differently on offense and defense. We also discussed whether Bobby Portis has solidified himself as a long-term piece with the team and the lengths the Bulls will go to keep him around. We also talked Jimmy Butler, Luka Doncic and various things from around the NBA.

10/8/18 Post-Game Show: Bulls vs. Hornets

The Chicago Bulls defensive woes continued in a 110-104 loss to the Charlotte Hornets Monday. Edward and Salim discussed whether the Bulls defensive issues can be fixed, and if they'll have enough offensive to counter it going forward. They also talked about Jabari Parker's rough preseason and wondered if he's pressing too much in preseason. The guys had some praise for Zach LaVine and discussed whether LaVine could take on more offensive responsibility if he continues his play into the regular season. They also previewed the Bulls final two preseason games against the Indiana Pacers and Denver Nuggets.

10/2/18 Post-Game Show: Bulls vs. Pelicans

The Lauri Markkanen-less Chicago Bulls defeated the New Orleans Pelicans in their preseason opener. Edward and Salim gave their thoughts on the game. They also discussed the news of Lauri Markkanen's injury and the domino effect it has on opportunity for some of the teams unproven players. The guys also previewed Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks and the matchups without Markkanen in the lineup. They wrapped the show with a discussion of rookies around the league so far in preseason. 

9/30/18 Pre-Game: Bulls vs. Pelicans (with Mark Karantzoulis)

Sunday, the Chicago Bulls tip off their preseason against the New Orleans Pelicans. Mark Karantzoulis of BullsHQ returns for this episode to preview the game with Edward and Salim. The three discussed what they're looking forward to in the matchup. They also discussed the parallels between the Pelicans and Bulls, and why this game can help the Bulls young roster in their long-term gameplan. They also gave their predictions for who will have the best game against the Pelicans and why Zach LaVine and Jabari Parker could feast in this particular matchup.

Media Day

Edward and Salim give all their reaction to the Bulls unusually normal Media Day. They talked about why it was a refreshing change to have a Media Day without huge storylines. The two talked about whether John Paxson and Gar Forman were wise to avoid publicly placing expectations on the roster. They also discussed the open competition for the starting center role and whether Wendell Carter has a chance to win the job. After going through media day, they ventured into a discussion about Jimmy Butler's trade request out of Minnesota and what exactly he should be looking to get out of his new destination. They also discussed the future of Tom Thibodeau without Butler in Minnesota. 

Strategic Moves

Former Bull Jimmy Butler is having a meeting with Minnesota's front office this week to determine his future with the organization. Edward and Salim talked about what's led up to this meeting and what Butler hopes to get out of it. This shifted into a discussion about Anthony Davis, who's considering hiring Rich Paul as his agent. The guys talked about what this hire could mean for Davis' future and whether the Bulls could get involved if Davis wants out of New Orleans. This led to a conversation about the Bulls present and future assets and if the Bulls would consider trading Lauri Markkanen or Wendell Carter Jr. to acquire Davis. The guys also revealed their top three bold predictions for the upcoming NBA season in this week's 3Peat. 

Offseason Talk (with Doug Thonus)

Doug Thonus joins Edward Shuler and Salim Suterwalla to discuss his path to writing, his time covering the Bulls, his most memorable experiences and encounters around the team and much more. The three then talked about the Bulls offseason, Zach LaVine, Jabari Parker and gave their win predictions for the season. This led to a brief conversation about David Nwaba's surprising contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers and whether the Bulls could've fit him on this year's roster. The episode closed out with a discussion of former Bull Luol Deng and the rumors linking him to a reunion in Minnesota with Tom Thibodeau. The guys gave an analysis of Thibodeau's tenure in Minnesota so far and the chances that he might entertain the idea of trading Jimmy Butler. It's a jam-packed episode of past and current Bulls conversation, with just a few weeks remaining until the start of preseason.

Promotions For Everyone

The Chicago Bulls announced promotions to several front office members, and Edward and Salim discussed those new roles and what it means for the organization going forward. They also talked about Gar Forman's decreasing public appearances and whether or not he still adds value to the Bulls front office. The guys played Buy or Sell, which included a discussion about the future financial worth of Lauri Markkanen. In this week's 3Peat, the guys ranked the top three Bulls moves they were most wrong about.

Best in Class

Following the release of the NBA Rookie Survey, more discussion about Wendell Carter Jr. kicks off this week's episode. Edward and Salim discuss if NBA rookies are justified in believing that Carter can have the best career of any player in his class. They also played Over/Under on some Bulls topics and introduced a new segment called "3Peat" where they each ranked their Top-3 favorite post-Michael Jordan Bulls performances. That led to a conversation about Jimmy Butler and whether he'd be making the right move by potentially joining LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers next summer.
