Morten Jensen of Forbes Sports and The NBA Pod joins us to discuss Bulls preseason, Zach LaVine's potential breakout year, the Bulls new offensive mindset, expectations for Lauri Markkanen, and how much improvement he expects from the Bulls this upcoming season.

Matt Peck of NBCS Chicago and Bulls Outsiders joined us to recap the week of Media Day and Training Camp for the Chicago Bulls and discuss his experience at Media Day.

Starting Satoransky (with Chase Hughes)

NBC Sports Washington's Chase Hughes joins us to discuss the Bulls acquisition of Tomas Satoransky, his strengths and weaknesses during his Wizards tenure, and what the Bulls can expect from him this season. We also talked the Bulls upcoming Media Day and whether or not we're buying the rumblings of Kris Dunn offseason improvement. 

Veteran Leadership

This week we discussed Thaddeus Young's role with the Bulls as a leader of the team. We talked about his impact on both sides of the ball, his fit in the Bulls frontcourt, and how he will help lead the Bulls this upcoming season. We also discussed Coby White's off-court transition into the NBA from an article in the Chicago Tribune. 

Unleashing Wendell (with Corey Tulaba)

Corey Tulaba of Hardwood Herald joined us to discuss Wendell Carter's rookie season, the Bulls releasing Antonio Blakeney, Chandler Hutchison's hamstring strain, and his expectations for the Bulls this upcoming season.

Inside the Dynasty (with Jack Silverstein)

Jack Silverstein (Sports Historian and Author of "How the GOAT was Built") joined us to for an in-depth look at the Chicago Bulls dynasties. Jack discusses Michael Jordan's first retirement, the Bulls' numerous attempts to trade Scottie Pippen, Phil Jackson's relationship with Jordan and Pippen, the biggest differences between the 91-93 and 96-98 Bulls dynasties, and much more. 

The Finnisher (with Mark Karantzoulis)

Mark Karantzoulis of BullsHQ joined us to discuss Lauri Markkanen's 2018-19 season, the improvements he can make going forward, and the chances of a breakout in his third season. We also discussed the NBA's Rookie Survey and the chances of Coby White making an All-Rookie team.

This week we reviewed the midseason acquisition of Otto Porter Jr. We discussed how Porter was able to make an impact with the team and if he still has upside remaining in his development. We also discussed Porter's place in the Bulls core and the lengths the team would go to re-sign him following an impactful season. We wrapped this week's episode with a discussion of the NBA schedule release and the games we're looking forward to this season.

The Next Step

This week we focused on Zach LaVine's 2018-19 season. We started with a discussion about the perception of LaVine and wondered if he's a polarizing player. We talked about his improved offense, the improvements he needs to make defensively, and his overall approach to his improvements in the offseason. We also discussed LaVine's contract and why his salary has become a bargain for the Bulls. We also had reactions to Carmelo Anthony's ESPN interview where he discussed his decision to spurn the Bulls in free agency. 

Summer League Vibes (with Will Gottlieb)

Bleacher Report's Will Gottlieb joined us to provide his observations from the Bulls Summer League action. We discussed Coby White, Daniel Gafford, Chandler Hutchison, and the Bulls' two-way player Andrew Mokoka. We also talked with Will about his thoughts on the Bulls offseason, the progression of their young core, and the team's outlook for the upcoming season.
