12/4/18 Post-Game Show: Bulls vs. Pacers

After firing Fred Hoiberg Monday, the Bulls lost to the Indiana Pacers in the first game of the Jim Boylen era. We broke down Hoiberg's dismissal, the organization's timing of the move, and looked back at how the Bulls got to this point. We discussed Boylen and the logic behind his promotion, as well as his chances of sticking around long-term. We also looked at the newfound effort the Bulls played with against the Indiana Pacers and whether or not it's a sign of things to come under Boylen. 

Lauri Returns

The Bulls continued their struggles this week, capping off a six-game losing streak against the Houston Rockets. We discussed their losses to the Spurs, Bucks, Pistons and Rockets. We also looked at Zach LaVine's curious decision on a crucial possession against the Spurs. Lauri Markkanen made his much-anticipated return from injury Saturday and we looked at some encouraging signs from his season debut. With Kris Dunn's return coming soon, we looked at the Bulls point guard situation and where Ryan Arcidiacono fits when Dunn comes back. Also discussed: Wendell Carter Jr's breakthrough against the Pistons, Justin Holiday's trade value, Jabari Parker's improvement and Derrick Rose's Sixth Man of the Year campaign.

Separate Ways

Following three lopsided losses, Edward and Salim try to make sense of the ugliest week in the regular season for the Bulls. They discussed Wendell Carter Jr's comments of the team's play and the mature qualities he's displaying as a future leader of the team. They talked about the team's current veteran leaders and why they're not similar to the past Bulls leaders during previous rebuilding efforts. Also, what can the team can do in the short-term to improve their effort and overall team chemistry? They also discussed a report linking Fred Hoiberg to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Lauri Markkanen's return and the mystery behind Denzel Valentine's injury. 

Avoid The Light

Edward and Salim broke down the Bulls victory over the New York Knicks and their loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. They also talked Wendell Carter Jr's rookie campaign and whether his upside is a lot higher than previously believed. They also talked about the point guard situation and the decision behind moving Ryan Arcidiacono into the starting lineup. The guys looked at the Chicago Sun Times' column on the future of Gar Forman and Fred Hoiberg, and discussed the alternatives to both of their roles. Around The League includes immediate reaction to Jimmy Butler's trade to the Philadelphia 76ers and how the Eastern Conference stacks up in it's aftermath. 

The Center of Attention

The Chicago Bulls went winless during their homestand, and Edward and Salim discussed the historical night the Golden State Warriors had at the expense of the Bulls on Monday. They also discussed the role Fred Hoiberg played in the team's approach and whether there's any hope that he can fix certain elements of his coaching style. They also looked at how the team responded afterwards in two close games against the Denver Nuggets and the Indiana Pacers. They also dissected Wendell Carter Jr.'s fantastic week and what he and the team are doing differently to get him going. They also reacted to Derrick Rose's 50 point performance with the Minnesota Timberwolves and the roller coaster ride his career has been. Plus: Stat-To-Stat, Around The League and Victory Cigar. 

House of Payne

There was a lot to cover in this week's show. We started off with reaction to the Bulls first win of the season against the Charlotte Hornets. We continued our praise of Zach LaVine's improvement and explained why his style of play can be sustained throughout the season. We also talked Cameron Payne and what his surprise performance could mean for the team's PG situation if he builds off this game. We discussed Wendell Carter Jr's performance so far and what he can improve on going forward to catch up to the speed of the NBA. We also gave our thoughts on where the Bulls season is headed with this string of injuries. This week's segments include Over/Under, Around The League, and Victory Cigar. 

10/18/18 Post-Game Show: Bulls vs. Philadelphia

The Bulls lost their regular season opener to the Philadelphia 76ers 127-108. Edward and Salim discussed the game, the Bulls frequently bad defensive habits and why it's troubling that the team continues to rely heavily on their offense to win games. They also continued to praise Zach LaVine's play following his 30-point night. They also talked about Bobby Portis and his contract negotiations and what the gap in talks represents for Portis and the Bulls next summer. The guys also went around the league and talked about the things that stuck out for them in the first few days of the regular season. They wrapped the show up with their picks for Friday's slate of games. 

Preseason Wrap

The Bulls preseason ended Friday in a loss to the Denver Nuggets. We talked about the game and reviewed the team's overall preseason. Fred Hoiberg shuffled the team's starting lineup and we talked about how Jabari Parker is handling his new bench role and why Wendell Carter Jr. has officially earned his starting job. We also continue to be impressed with Zach LaVine's play and discussed what he's doing differently on offense and defense. We also discussed whether Bobby Portis has solidified himself as a long-term piece with the team and the lengths the Bulls will go to keep him around. We also talked Jimmy Butler, Luka Doncic and various things from around the NBA.

10/8/18 Post-Game Show: Bulls vs. Hornets

The Chicago Bulls defensive woes continued in a 110-104 loss to the Charlotte Hornets Monday. Edward and Salim discussed whether the Bulls defensive issues can be fixed, and if they'll have enough offensive to counter it going forward. They also talked about Jabari Parker's rough preseason and wondered if he's pressing too much in preseason. The guys had some praise for Zach LaVine and discussed whether LaVine could take on more offensive responsibility if he continues his play into the regular season. They also previewed the Bulls final two preseason games against the Indiana Pacers and Denver Nuggets.

10/2/18 Post-Game Show: Bulls vs. Pelicans

The Lauri Markkanen-less Chicago Bulls defeated the New Orleans Pelicans in their preseason opener. Edward and Salim gave their thoughts on the game. They also discussed the news of Lauri Markkanen's injury and the domino effect it has on opportunity for some of the teams unproven players. The guys also previewed Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks and the matchups without Markkanen in the lineup. They wrapped the show with a discussion of rookies around the league so far in preseason.
